When we talk about some of the most anticipated sneaker releases of 2025, the upcoming reissue of the classic black and red Air Jordan 1 High is at the top of the list. What makes this year's iteration even more special is that to celebrate its 40th anniversary, Jordan Brand is releasing the most accurate recreation of the original 1985 sneaker yet. We're now also learning that the style won't be easily accessible.

Ahead of its release in February, sneaker industry sources tell Complex that this year’s retro of the "Bred" Air Jordan 1 High '85 is limited to just 10,000 pairs. Jordan Brand declined to respond to this figure as it does not comment on allocation numbers.

It's also worth mentioning that the shoe will only be available at 23 of Nike’s "neighborhood" wholesale partners, retail sources tell Complex, but the specific locations carrying the shoe have yet to be announced by Jordan Brand.

The brand currently has the "Bred" Air Jordan 1 High '85 launching on Feb. 14 for $250, but neighborhood accounts have it releasing on Feb. 7.

Grab a closer look at this year's "Bred" Air Jordan 1 retro below as we await official launch details from Jordan Brand.
