Boosie Badazz Wants to Remix LiAngelo Ball's "Tweaker"
MoneyBagg Yo also said he's down to hop on a remix of the viral track.
Basketball player LiAngelo Ball's new song "Tweaker" has caught the attention of Boosie Badazz.
LiAngelo, who is currently out of commission when it comes to basketball due to a ligament injury, is building buzz as a rapper thanks to his viral hit. "Tweaker" has quickly amassed popularity online and has spawned many memes produced in response to its throwback sound. The sound appears to be resonating with one southern rapper in particular, with Boosie publicly sharing his appreciation for the track by offering to collaborate.
"Send da verse @LiAngeloBall," Boosie tweeted on Tuesday, Jan. 7.
But Boosie isn't the only rapper who wants to get in on the viral success of "Tweaker." In a tweet also shared on Tuesday, MoneyBagg Yo wrote, "@LiAngeloBall send me da open verse ima tweak."
LiAngelo, who doesn't appear to be all that active on X/Twitter these days, has yet to publicly respond to their request to hop on a remix of "Tweaker."
The song features a songwriting credit from LiAngelo's brother, Lonzo Ball, who later commented on the viral buzz around its release. "Only credit I deserve is the cover art lol G really that!" he tweeted. He's now even scheduled to perform "Tweaker" at Rolling Loud Los Angeles 2024, which will take place from March 15-16.
