Travis Kelce will get some serious screen time in the upcoming Adam Sandler sports comedy, Happy Gilmore 2.

The Chiefs star appeared in the first teaser, which was released during Netflix's Christmas Day broadcast of the Chiefs vs. Steelers game. The streaming giant dated the film's release for 2025.

"It's great to see you back, Mr. Gilmore," Kelce says in the clip.

Along with Kelce, Bad Bunny, Kid Cudi, and Margaret Qualley will also appear in the film, per TMZ.

In May, Kelce reacted to the rumors of being cast in the film on his New Heights podcast, calling himself a "huge fan of the Sandman" and hinting that "theories can come true."

In August, Sandler was a guest on New Heights and confirmed that Kelce would be in HG2, and shared that he originally intended for the football star to play his son.

"The whole thing was to get to hang out with Travis," Sandler said on the episode, around the 57-minute mark of the video above. "That’s why we put it together."

"First of all Travis, we’re going to have fun," Sandler continued. "Because the scene you’re doing is with so many great golfers. It’s going to be amazing. You’re going to be funny as hell."

Kelce's acting career is booming alongside his talents in podcasting and hosting, as he recently starred in FX horror show Grotesquerie and will next be seen in comedy flick Loose Cannons.
